Shooting sports is very important in the sports competitions. In the process of training, the athletes need not only stable motor skills but also high psychological skills. In training and competition, shooting athletes should be maintain a high concentration of attention under pressure at all times, and steadily complete shooting action. Athletes’ burnout is often appear in training athletes psychological problems. Both at home and abroad for the athletes’ burnout, mental toughness and attention has some researchs, and previous researchs focused on the the relationship between athletes’ burnout and motivation, stress and attention, but for the relationship between this three factors in the shooting sports exploration is less. In this context, this study is a shooting athletes’ burnout empirical study, and put forward effective suggestions on the basis of the study, in order to provide theoretical guidance for shooting athlete’s daily training and to improve the athletes’ own level and results of the competition.The method of questionnaire survey is adopted in this study by cancellation test, Sports Mental Toughness Questionnaire(SMTQ), Athlete Burnout Questionnaire(ABQ) for 100 shooting athletes. The study aims to explore the relationship of the degree of concentration attention, mental toughness and athletes’ burnout.The detail results are following:Chinese shooter exist burnout condition, and the attention of the shooters and mental toughness is generally high.The degree of attention have a prominent difference on different gender. And Shooting athletes of different ages significantly influence the athletes’ burnout scores and its two dimensions(emotion/physical exhaustion and sport devaluation).The degree of concentration attention was significantly correlated with athletes’ burnout scores and its dimension(reduced sense of accomplishment), and the degree of concentration attention has a significant positive effect on athletes’ burnout scores and reduced sense of accomplishment. Mental toughness was significantly correlated with athletes’ burnout scores and its three dimensions, and mental toughness has a significant negative effect on athletes’ burnout scores and its dimensions.Mental toughness makes an obvious negative regulation betweem the degree of concentration attention and burnout as well as emotion/physical exhaustion. |
