Development Of China’s Rural Schools For The Elderly

Education of the aged is a kind of new education business accustomed to the aging of population and the advancement of learning society.It is in favor of the realization of own cultural value for the elderly, conducive to the creation of a harmonious atmosphere in families, communities and cities.However, restricted by economy, region, culture and other conditions, the villages and towns in elderly students participation, old school funding, teachers, and curriculums has a lot of problems.This article take the villages and towns as the research object, Xiatang town Changfeng county of Hefei city as a case, combining the successful experience of developed countries running, through the questionnaire survey and interviews,analysis of the town older university on the problems existing in the process of running, we want on the basis of discusses the strategies to solve the problem of development of universities for the elderly in villages and towns.This article is divided into five chapters. Description of Britain, America and Japan aged university or institution of education mode, provide experience for the article countermeasures; The fourth chapter, Situation and Problems in Xiatang town Elderly University. By actual survey to find out the old university town at the problems; The fifth chapter, countermeasures and suggestions to promote China ’s rural development schools for the elderly. Based on investigation and analysis, combined with the British, American and Japanese useful experience, gives the countermeasures and suggestions for the elderly in villages and towns school development.
