| "Data analysis" is one of the new columns in PEP high school biology textbook designed to adapt the new round of basic education reform and the needs of independent,inquiring,cooperative learning.Since the full application of the new PEP textbook,"data analysis" column plays an important role in opening students’ thinking,improving students’ classroom participation and students’ biological science literacy.However,through internships and investigate,I found that the application effect of "data analysis" column in actual classroom teaching is not ideal.The reasons of it are many.Some teachers do not realize the potential value of this column.Some teachers rarely use it because of the limited classroom time.And some teachers lack proper teaching methods to use it.In order to solve above problems,I try to apply "Inquiry-Participation" teaching model to the fields of teaching them.This study takes hold in the new curriculum standards and the requirements of the new curriculum notion,based on constructivism theory and cognitive structure learning theory,Based on the classifying of the "data analysis" column.Combined by the "inquiry teaching mode" and "participatory teaching model",then proposed "Inquiry-participatory" teaching model which suits for the teaching of "data analysis" column.The model aiming at different types of "data analysis" column puts forward different teaching methods,emphasizes inquiry-based,focusing enable students to participate in the "data analysis" column really,and striving to improve students’ ability to analyze biological problems,the ability to collect and process information and summarize the biological knowledge,applying new knowledge to solve problems as well as cooperation and exchange capacity for achievement of the column.This paper will discuss "Inquiry-Participation" teaching mode from following several aspects.The first part of is an overview of the research questions,including questions proposed,purpose and significance.The second part includes the introduction of the content,classification and application status about the "data analysis" column,as well as the summary of "Inquiry-Participation" teaching model,such as concept and theoretical basis.The third part introduces the block diagram of the teaching model and proposed the application of the teaching method in "data analysis" column by two practical teaching cases.The last part discusses the application results of "Inquiry-Participation" teaching mode from the survey and the results of student achievement,and proposed suggestions and prospect of the teaching of "data analysis" column in future. |
