In August 2014,the Ministry of Education put forward "Cultivate Outstanding Teachers Plan" in our country,the United Nations Educational,Scientific and Cultural Organization(UNESCO)published "Universal Education Global Quality Inspection Report" in 2015,"teaching quality improvement" as keywords in the report.Thus,to improve teachers' quality become a common problem in the last two years,in order to promote teachers' quality and ability,we should pay attention to post-career training,induction education and pre-service training,especially the induction.Induction is the connection bridge of pre-service training and after training.The new teachers' induction education is the common concern of all countries.This study use the methods of literature,comparative and case study,research on American new teacher induction,through research get the special features of American new teacher induction,hope to promote our new teacher induction.The paper is divided into six parts:The first part is the introduction part;including the problems put forward,the definition of related concepts,relevant literature review,also including research purpose and significance,research ideas and methods.The second part is the theoretical basis.Lifelong education theory and the theory of teacher professional development stage are two important theory of new teacher induction.The third part,introduce the history of American new teacher induction,and analyzed the goal,the main content of United States induction.The fourth part studies the specific implementation of the new teacher induction,in different states,the implementation of the new teacher induction is not the same,According to the report of the United States department of education and the teaching and future education committee,get the most representative of the four kinds of forms,to do a thorough research on the implementation of the education form.Take teacher and student as main subject,from the change of them,analysis the effect of the implementation of the new teacher induction.The fifth part comprehensive analysis of American new teacher induction education characteristics,provide helps for our new teacher induction.The sixth part focuses on the current situation of China's new teacher induction,according to United States new teacher Induction,put forward some suggestions,and hope to promote the new teacher's professional development,improve the quality of education in our country.Through the analysis of American new teacher induction,this paper extracted the characteristics of the new teacher induction,and combined with the problem our country faced,try to put forward some suggestions: the government make the policy more scientific and specific,pay more attention to the selection and professional training about mentor,the schools can set up the induction committee,strengthen the supervision and inspection.
