Geography Education in the process of training the students knowledge of geography,in China, for a long period of time due to the influence of "examination" of education in the teaching of geography in schools, teachers under the dual pressures of school and society, have to be more pay attention to the students ’knowledge of geography education, to improve students’ test scores tried various methods, which also ignores the emotional high school students in the development of teaching methods to teach such students out, very difficult to get comprehensive development in all aspects, as well as skew things exist on cognition.China has long proposed education reform and quality education, but due to lack of research in this area, as well as deep-rooted, traditional education model of quality education in schools simply can’t be implemented, heavy emotional education knowledge light phenomenon will be widespread. With the development of the times, the quality of education reform is urgently needed, along with the quality of education reform, emotional education has also been made to promote and advocate for the majority of scholars.In this paper, in line with a scientific attitude, from teaching practice, for emotional education in geography teaching application for a more comprehensive analysis and research, the main purpose of this paper is the emotional education as a new mode of education in geography teaching how to reflected in practice, schools and teachers as well as society as a whole should do to make the students’ emotional quality has been improved, so that students get a comprehensive development in all aspects.Understanding of current research in education on the basis of emotion, this paper a preliminary understanding of the emotional status of students and teachers through the questionnaire, the questionnaire for teachers and students were set a number of orientations reflect their emotional problems, the answers to the questionnaire statistics treatment, for several of the more prominent issue for some teachers and students were interviewed exchanges.
