Risk Management Of Private Primary And Secondary Education Projects In Nanning

Private primary and secondary education is an inseparable part of Nanning's basic education. It has achieved substantial progress after years of development. However, compared with private education in developed cities and taking into consideration the high expectations of the whole society on private education, there still exists problems, even risks, among Nanning's private primary and secondary education projects.The paper is mainly based on project risk management theories and relevant technical analysis tools. To begin with, after an overall review of the development of private primary and secondary education projects in Nanning and analysis of problems existing in risk management, we have, by using questionnaire survey, Delphi method, fishbone chart, figured out 17 potential risk factors and six major potential risks in the development of Xingning School Project, namely, local policy risk, social credibility risk, market factor risk, education quality risk, school operation risk and human resources management risk. Next, by adopting the analytic hierarchy process (AHP), we have evaluated the key potential risk factors in the development of the project. It turns out that these factors mainly consist of payment policy changes, school brand and credit rebuilding, competition from public schools, land use rights, low student quality and teacher mobility. To conclude, based on the above findings, the paper provides suggestions to effectively control the key potential risk factors in the Xingning School Project and, with a broader picture in mind, points out common problems existing in the development of private primary and secondary education projects in Nanning:lag-behind policy and measure implementation, management to be standardized, profit-oriented school management strategies, lack of school development funds and shortage of teachers and proposes suggestions.The research aims to provide a useful reference for the sound development of private primary and secondary education projects in Nanning, and universal theoretical guidance to the development of private primary and secondary education projects all over the country.
