National culture is a nation to survive, multiply spiritual bond, the Tibetan cultural heritage and innovation is not only the survival and development needs of the Tibetans, but also an important part of the Chinese nation's prosperity and development. Tibet is located in an average altitude of 4000 meters above the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, known as the world's "third pole." Tibetans create their own culture in the snow-covered plateau which has the unique natural environment, such as Tibetan Thangka, Tibetan architecture, woven mats, Tibetan carve, Tibetan handicrafts and so on. Showing its unique grace to the world and continue to develop and innovate the in Tibetan culture in the changeable history.Tibet is rich in cultural resources, unique natural resources, economic development model is limited, so take the road of development of cultural industries in the preferred road for sustainable development of Tibet socio-economic and cultural. Education is an important way of human cultural heritage and innovation, higher vocational education in Tibet should pay more attention to the Tibetan cultural heritage and innovation, because of its function that is the cradle of modern culture and mainly professional technical in Tibet. One approach to Tibetan culture is made them into education and curriculum, especially for some inheritance and innovation of traditional crafts, its operability and practicality decide the higher vocational education is Tibetan n more efficient in Tibet. Higher Vocational Education in Tibet after 20 years of development, has come a very unusual way of development, cultivate a batch after batch of high-quality professionals and plays an important role in the modernization of Tibetan society. Tibet Vocational and Technical College as the leading of vocational education, not only shouldering the outstanding cultural heritage of Tibet's responsibility, but should shouldering the Innovation of outstanding cultural mission, in order to cultivate high-quality modern technical skills, talents for Tibet's social, economic and cultural development.In this study, Tibet Vocational and Technical College is a case to research the importance of higher vocational education in Tibet and its role in the Tibetan cultural heritage and innovation, and expand the research literature, interviews, case studies, multidisciplinary research methods. At first, this study describes the importance and dominance of Higher Vocational Education in Tibet Tibetan culture heritage and innovation. Secondly, Tibet Vocational and Technical College of art and design professionals has been set up and is about to set up a professional Tibetan architecture as cases, and with the overall analysis of Tibet Vocational and Technical College Situation, insufficient and causes in Tibet cultural heritage and innovation. At last, we apply theoretical knowledge and based on the actual situation in Tibet in order to put forward feasible development strategies.
