| Issued by the Ministry of Education, after the implementation of the new art curriculum standard around the elementary school fine arts education have different levels of development, however, the elementary school fine arts education level of the Nanchang City still lags behind that of many other provincial capital cities, not only out of school management, capital investment, teaching concepts, teaching methods, the lack of teacher training, also reflects on the investigations of the Nanchang City elementary school fine arts education lag.This article selects a primary school of Nanchang as the main research object, to carry out the investigation and study, gather information in all aspects of the educatio-n of fine arts, arrangement and analysis on the status, found the main problem. At the same time, the investigation and reference to other high-quality cooperatively-run school teaching and management methods in art education, put forward feasible Suggest-ions for Nanchang’s primary school, to help the school as soon as possible to catch up with the new art curriculum standard request.This research will present the results with four parts. The first chapter introduced the whole situation of the primary school as the background, and then to The Compulsory Education Curriculum Standards(2011 Edition) of Fine Arts as the evaluation standard, to measure the fine arts education status in the school’s position, in this high strength school, fine arts education didn’t get the attention for deserve. The second chapter specifies and analyzes the present situation of each section of the school fine arts education and the existing problems, and according to the logical order of each section, first introduced the situation of the curriculum, understand whether there is enough time for the school fine arts education, to inspect whether there is sufficient to ensure the material, then analyzes the present situation of art teaching, and teachers of fine arts in working ability development, the last link of teaching evaluation, is happening in other education link, to the overall situation of feedback. In the third chapter corresponds to the second main problem of each section of the fine arts education, put forward the solution.
