The Study Of Public Rental Housing Current State Under The Perspective Of The Social Work

The rapid development of the economy in recent years has led to an increase in the residents’ income. Yet, there is a drop in the country’s housing affordability due to the sky-high commercial housing prices. This is especially the case for those low-income earners, these individuals are struggling to buy even a tiny house for living. Housing security,also, has become a hot topic among people. The number of workers has been increasing rapidly,as the urbanization quickens. Meanwhile, many young adults are looking for their first jobs or setting up their own businesses after graduating,not only can they afford a house, but they cannot meet the security housing requirements.Tackling the issues of housing and their housing demand are associated with the country’s economic advancement and social stability. Therefore,it’s of great significance to study in the fields of public rental housing and residents’ current living situation.The subject of this thesis is Kangbashi, with taking social work as a viewpoint. And the content mainly covers the analysis of the public rental housing current situation, studies of the problems of its distribution in the process and reflection of its dwellers’ living situation. Studying the field from a professional social work perspective, with the intervention of the social workers, it has also proposed some relevant suggestions about how to establish and improve the public rental housing distribution system more reasonably.The whole article consists of introduction, three chapters of main body,conclusion,references and appendix.The introduction gives information about the purpose and the meaning of choosing the topic,the research summary,research method and the definition of certain relevant concept.In the chapter 1, it talks about the demand for public rental house, theconstruction and its reason in Kangbashi on the basis of the area’s public rental housing fundamental state and its formation.In the chapter 2, it analyzes the problems of public rental housing distribution and supervision, supporting facilities’ imperfection and the unsound functions of the community. Therefore it has taken some measures to prove the feasibility of the social work’s intervention, such as case work and group work.In the chapter 3,it evaluates the effects of the social work’s intervention and presents some constructive ideas about improving public rental housing system in Kangbashi Xinqu. Noting that it’s necessary to establish some public basic facilities and speed up the constructing of the social service center so as to enhance the residents’ living standards.The conclusion is the summary of the whole essay research focus.Namely: one, to Kabngbashi district public rental housing rental process problems and public rental housing residents of the present situation of research. Second, in the perspective of social work, through investigating the public rental housing tenants, understand the present situation, existing problems and residents use the task center mode in case work and group work in interactive mode to carry out the professional social work service activities,summarizes their effectiveness.
