With further development of economic globalization, corporation and innovation has become core competence of a country, which is even more important in drastic international competition. Echoed by era development, being autonomous, cooperation and competition have become the most important educational idea for new teaching reform in high school nowadays. Cooperative learning has been introduced into new teaching reform on ideology and politics in senior high school, which represents the general trend.It sets forth the gist for establishing the topic from research status and the significance of the subject. The goal and methods of research is put forward, and the feasibility of research on the topic has been analyzed. based on brief review on the connotation and theoretical foundation of cooperative learning, from the angle of high school thought politics discipline, the necessity and feasibility of implementing cooperative learning has been concretely analyzed, and emerging issues during implementing cooperative learning has been analyzed and concluded by survey and interview. cooperative learning has been established, and concrete optimizing strategy has been put forward aiming at emerging issues in cooperative learning. Through questionnaire survey, it demonstrates that cooperative learning has made significant achievement on such aspects as stimulating learning interest, cultivating cooperative awareness and cooperative skill. Though comparative analyzing academic achievement before and after the experiments, it indicates that cooperative learning could greatly improve overall academic achievements of students.
