This paper starts with a comprehensive review of the research status on the employment and entrepreneurship of minority college graduates at home and abroad,and then defines related concepts, describes the theories.Then based on the organize of national policy and measures about promote college students' employment and entrepreneurship,this paper summers the employment and entrepreneurship policy in Sichuan Province special for minority college graduates,which have been effective in promoting the employment and entrepreneurship of them.Under this premise,through literature data collection and field research, this paper takes three major ethnic universities in Sichuan Province for example:Southwest University for Nationalities, Xichang College, Sichuan Minzu College,then summaries the status and characteristics of employment and Entrepreneurship of minority college graduates in Sichuan province:The employment of minority college graduates in the three universities has a good overall situation,and reflects many characteristics including:minority college graduates mainly has a job within the government and the proportion of enterprises employment increased slowly;most of them returns their hometown to work and policy provides a good platform for them; their innovation and entrepreneurship awareness has been enhanced and there is a close correlation between entrepreneurial projects and local characteristics.By reading the relevant research and survey method such as forum, individual interviews and questionnaire,this paper sums up the problems and their causes of minority college students'employment and entrepreneurship in Sichuan Province.Through the research we find:their employment pattern is not balanced;the employment demand is insufficient and the development space of them is small;discipline and profession become the limiting factor of employment;innovative undertaking rate is very low and it is difficult to success;their comprehensive quality is poor and the competitiveness is not strong and so on.And the causes including policy measures formulation and implementation is not in place;the geographical position limitation of Sichuan minority area;the deviation of university talent training and market demand.According to above analysis, this paper suggests that put multi-party efforts together to promote the employment and entrepreneurship of minority college students.First,Governments should actively promote the feasibility of the law that protect of the minority college students'employment rights,and set up reasonable employment positions to minority college students who taught sciences in minority languages. Second,college should train characteristic bilingual talent in line with the market demand, one hand, college should set various profession with small students, and according to market demand adjust the characteristic profession.For another,according to student's need to give them employment guidance to improve their competitiveness.Finally,minority college students should improve their comprehensive quality actively.
