Geographical video media record geographical phenomenon like natural ecological environment and social cultural environment by sounds, images and text. Under the condition that unable to make on-site inspection on geographical phenomenon, Geographical video media can give people a sense of empathy. With the Education informatization and the improvement of the traditional teaching mode, more and more geography education experts and geography teachers realizing the importance of Geographical video media teaching.The author of this study mainly aimed at the present situation of video media's application in high school geography Mongolian teaching, this study composed by four parts:The first part is introduction, in this part,author introduce the development of video media's application in high school geography teaching by overview of relevant studies and clear about the research significance and research content.The second part is the choice of video media in the high school geography Mongolian teaching. Firstly, summarize the concept of geographical video media by literature reading. Then analyze the “High school geography new curriculum standard” and the content of PEP edition geography textbook according to the curriculum standard. And then choose 21 geographic videos that combined with high school geography teaching material contents from the 110 videos collected by method of statistical analysis. At last, summarize editing and classification of the video media that used in geography Mongolian teaching. In this study author used Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 to shear, merge and made voice production to collected video media, and made high standard educational video media to high school geography Mongolian teaching.The third part is the application strategy of video media in geography Mongolian teaching. This part involved in 8 cases according to the actual situation of geography Mongolian teaching and respectively summarized the effect that video media strategy used in various parts. The organizers and designers of the case are teachers, and the design of the case must emphasize student-centered, highlight the student's main body status.The last part is conclusion. This part summarize the strategy and suggestion of video media's application in geography Mongolian teaching, and also put forward the deficiency of this research.According to Mongolian teaching high school geography teaching, practical application of video media stories, draw three conclusions. The first is the recommended choice for high school geography teaching video media. The second is the editing of video media, how the editing process can be effectively applied only in high school geography taught in Mongolian. The third strategy is the application of some of the recommendations of video media to teach Mongolian geography teachers.In this study, the author focuses on how to process existing geographic video media into geography Mongolian teaching resources, And according to the needs of teaching objectives, analyzes the advantages and disadvantages and put forward some application strategies and Suggestions in video media teaching method, then effectively integrated into the high school geography Mongolian teaching, change the traditional geography teaching mode. Under the circumstance that lack of Mongolian teaching materials, the author strongly hope that this study will help Mongolian teaching students, improve their geographic academic level and geographic study interest, and also hope more and more high school geography Mongolian teacher enjoy into this study, make more excellent teaching materials.
