Symmetry is one of the core concepts of middle school mathematics teaching content, and functions of symmetry is one of the important properties.The research to this field is also important for students better understand the concept and properties of symmetry, which is at the same time to provide theoretical basis for further researchThis research is based on the theory of teaching, students' cognitive theory, curriculum, through literature research, interview method, test and other research methods. Meanwhile, according to the survey on high school students' understanding about this field and the statistics and analysis of data, the conclusions are as follows:First, students' understanding of the concept of function parity, give priority to with graphics features, for function parity concept of abstract language symbols only stay on the level of memory, they did not really understand the essence of the concept.Second, the students' judging the parity of the various functions, for piecewise function parity judgment is significantly weaker than other types of function.Third, students find it hard to apply to the real situation. they are not flexible in application of inverse function symmetry relations between the two functions to analyze and solve problems, involving after two functions before and after the translation, scaling transformation transform symmetry relationship there is also a big problem.Forth, teachers attach little attention to mathematical aesthetic value degree, which leads to ignore the cultivation of the related content of teaching in class and infiltration. The old-fashioned teaching methods and students passively participation also lead to students understanding in the concept less effectivelyBased on the above theory research an related statistics and analysis,the essay also did a reseach in the fourth chapter on parse symmetry problem of teaching content, including a report on the high function parity of teaching design, teaching implementation and evaluation. According to theoretical analysis, the results of the survey and teaching content parsing, this study gives the following suggestions:First, a reasonable and effective teaching activity and design will ensure students actively participate in the process and experience the process of knowledge in the activities. Besides, it will definately deepen students' understanding of the concepts and applications. Through the design activity, students can better understand the concept of function parity, which is of great help for students to solve the problems.Second, in the design of classroom teaching,teachers should pay special attention to the students who should be the center of the class rather than the teachers. An effective and efficient class should be a perfert cooperation of the involvement of students and teachers. Students learn the knowledge by thinking independently, which also improve their abilities in communication and cooperation. In additon, the activities will increase students'interest and confidence in learning mathematicsThird, pay attention to cultivating three kinds of language transformation and penetration students consciousness. Moreover, teachers should help students master how to describe functions in a variety of ways, and understand the concept of function parity nature. Most importantly, we need to improve the students' consciousness in application.
