The interaction between Neo-Confucianism and Academy is an important power to push the education and teaching of Nan song dynasty to its prosperity. The double identity of Zhu Xi's master of Neo-Confucianism and Academy educators makes himself created the outstanding Kao Ting School, while forming Neo-Confucianism and putting the theory into practice in the academy teaching. During process of the interaction of forming and teaching the Neo-Confucianism, Zhu Xi created his original academy teaching ideology. The ideology becomes the model of setting up academy system. Exploring the essence of Zhu Xi's academy teaching ideology still have enlightenment to us today, such as service for the educational reform of the university today, and connect the foundation of the national roots of Chinese university teaching.This study is divided into four parts. Through study intensively the formation background, development stage and specific connotation and a brief evaluation of Zhu Xi's academy teaching ideology. Then combined with the reform of the University, the paper expounds its modern value.First of all, through five aspects to analysis the realistic background of Zhu Xi's academy teaching ideology formation including the trends of Nan song dynasty gave rise to academy education development, the inheritance of the essence of Confucianism private education and previous academy teaching, and the reference of official Schools and Buddhist temple teaching experience, and the experience of Zhu Xi's schooling and teaching, and then through three aspects such as political, philosophy and mind psychological ideology, to analysis supportive theoretical basis of Zhu Xi's academy teaching ideology system.Secondly, combined with the academy development context during Zhu Xi's living periods, and the process of studying Neo-Confucianism, and the tracks practices of academy, this part elaborate the concomitant development of Zhu Xi's academy teaching ideology formation and his Neo-Confucianism development. And further comb Zhu Xi's academy teaching ideology thought all the process from germination, formation to the mature.Again, a specific analysis of Zhu Xi's connotation of academy teaching ideology, from six aspects including the academy teaching purpose, content, organization form, method and principle, process and the relationship between teachers and students, comprehensive discourse the essence of Zhu Xi's academy teaching thought.Finally, through the overall understanding, general comment on both essences and limitations of Zhu Xi's academy teaching ideology, and then points out its positive and negative influence on later education and teaching. Then combine with the problems existing in the reality of university teaching and analysis which part of the teaching ideology worth for reference, and put forward the corresponding suggestions so as to help the success of the university teaching reform.
