As the important content of school education, textbooks are the main carrier to achieve curriculum objectives.Teachers are one of the main characters in the use of textbooks, whether they can take advantage of textbooks rationally and effectively can not only affect the function and value of textbooks, but also affect the implementation of teaching activities. Under the new curriculum reform, the elastic and flexible design of textbooks have left a wider space for teachers to redevelop textbooks, but also increase the challenge of redevelopment of textbooks. And as the function and viewpoint of textbooks have changed, the redevelopment of textbooks is becoming an inevitable requirement for teachers' professional development. Therefore, observing and analyzing teachers' redevelopment activities in classroom teaching can not only have an important significance on the function and value of textbooks' redevelopment,but also provide reference and guidance for chemistry teachers of Sunior high school to redevelop textbooks effectively.Based on the review of relative research, this paper establishes the research direction, and selecting a chemistry teacher in the Senior high school to carry out a case study.This paper analyzes the practical operation of the textbooks' redevelopment of the teacher who truly teaches in the school. Through the observation and the communications with the teacher during the whole semester, this paper has a great knowledge of the teacher's cognition of chemistry textbook's redevelopment,analyzes the teacher's redevelopment activities, summarizes the ways and characteristics of textbooks' redevelopment which the activities symbolize at the same.The study found that the content of textbooks' redevelopment mainly includes the redevelopment of textbooks' structure, contents, experiments and problem sets,reflecting the diversity of form and content. Teachers set up the correct viewpoint of textbooks is the precondition of the redevelopment, and take the student as the center is the basis of redevelopment.
