As a subject in the history of education for more than one hundred years, biology has been undertaking the important task to improve students' biological science literacy. In dynamic wave of education reform, the research on the biology after-class exercises of high school is still relatively lack, and at present there are many disadvantages in biology after-class exercises of high school, already can't satisfy the demand of the high school biology education. To study on the biology after-class exercises of high school, not only can promote the further deepening of curriculum reform, but also can enrich its theory and promote its effective implementation.Literature research, surveys and other research methods are used in this paper, through systemic perspective, strives for a comprehensive study of the high school biology after-class exercises features, presents situation as well as the design and implementation of the process.This paper includes the flowing six parts:The first part expounds the cause of the problem, research purpose and meaning, and summarizes the domestic and foreign related research, then obtains the inspiration of this paper and shortages of the present study. Thus establishes the main concept, the research ideas, the research methods and other basic problems. The second part is about the ontology characteristic of the biology after-class exercises in high school, puts forward the theoretical basis of this study, according to the completion of biology after-class exercises in high school mode,divides it into five types, and sums up its function of students' level,teachers' level and the teaching's level. The third part is about the investigation of the present situation, this paper uses the questionnaire survey, respectively investigated the biology teachers and students in high school about the current high school biology after-class exercises' design and setting, evaluation and feedback, students' preferences and then analyses the current problems and their reasons. The fourth part elaborates the basic process of design and implementation about the biology after-class exercises of high school, the basic process of design and implementation about the biology after-class exercises of high school can be divided into five specific link, and put forward the design and implementation of specific operation methods and basic principles. The fifth part is about the design case and the analysis, the author in view of the different types of biology after-class exercises in high school and a complete biology case, then presented it to teaching professor, biology teachers, research staffs, according to the given suggestions to modify and improve the case. The sixth expounds the conclusion of the paper, the insufficiency and the research prospects.According to the research, concludes the following conclusions: the exercises of after class is a system of dynamic process; The current high school biology after-class exercises' type is single, its design lack of pertinence and students' participation in a feedback phase is low stand out; according to the completion mode of the biology after-class exercises in high school,divides it into five types: written, reading, oral classes, operation and practice, different type has different characteristics and functions, its design is both diversity and unity; According to the process and the principle of the after-class exercises in high school,the cases is in line with the requirements of the new curriculum reform and the high school biology curriculum standard, can improve the students' biological science literacy.
