The Research On The Study Of The Socialism With Chinese Characteristics Since The Eighteenth National Congress By Scholars From Europe And The United States

Hu Jintao stated directly in the Eighteenth National Congress that we must unswervingly follow the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics,achieving new victory for socialism with Chinese characteristics.When we look back to the history,the new China was tottering forward like a baby,fumbling and tumbling,but never let the setback throw it.After the Reform and Opening,new China is prosperous,like splitting bamboo,becoming the second economy entity in the world.Nowadays China is like a rising star in the stage of the world.On this occasion,China got mixed notices from different countries.There are problems appearing frequently in the development of the western world,and China has achieved steady development after the reform and opening up.The world marvels at the miracles that were created by this ancient oriental country,trying to dig out the secret to success,which forms the heat of the research on China over the world.After the Eighteenth National Congress,China's economy,social,political,cultural and other aspects have changed,which lead the research of foreigner scholars to some new parts and these are worth exploring.Because there is a large numbers of foreigner scholars that devote themselves to the research of China,I choose the studies of scholars from Europe and the US as my main object.Through the analysis of domestic and foreign literature,to grasp the European and American scholars research,thinking dialectically,as well as obtaining beneficial enlightenment,and deconstruct western discourse to improve China's International voice.The paper is divided into three parts:The first part of the paper summarizes the motivations of scholars in Europe and America for the study of socialism with Chinese characteristics since the Eighteenth National congress from four aspects:first of all,the appeal of the rising China;Second,the Scholars' studies on China aim at serving their own countries and their global strategies;Third,in order to learn something from China's development experience;Fourth,these scholars are concerned about the world socialist movement.The second part of the paper elaborates the research on socialism with Chinese characteristics since the Eighteenth National Congress of the European and American scholars,which from China's economy,political,social and international image.The third part,on the one hand,analyses the limitations of these scholars based on China's reality.On the other hand,analyzing these scholars' research findings and methods can help domestic scholars do better job on the study of the socialism with Chinese characteristics.
