A Study Of Hong Kong Identity Crisis Under The Influence Of British And American Forces

The year of 2017 marks the 20th anniversary of Hong Kong's return,and coincided with Hong Kong politics has ushered in a new chief executive,so it has an important value of the times to explore Hong Kong and the mainland through the twenty years of ups and downs in this stage of the nodes.Since Hong Kong returned to Chinese rule in 1997,it has continued to operate with distinct political,legal and economic systems,so it is hard to avoid many problems.From the perspective of international politics,the United States openly intervene in affairs of Hong Kong and making trouble for many times,and the British government still published 'The six-monthly report on Hong Kong(1 July to 31 December 2016)',so Hong Kong's political field gradually become the international political abattoir.External cause is condition;internal cause is foundation.This article holds that the issue of identity as an internal cause has become a starting point and focus for International Anti-China forces to intervene in Hong Kong affairs.The separation and integration between Mainland and Hong Kong have made the issue of identity more and more obvious under the background of colonial history,so research the identity issue behind Hong Kong is a considerable event for Hong Kong and mainland to resolve the external crisis,maintaining national security and stability region of our country,to build a bright prospect.In this paper,the case of " occupy central" as a background,which has been widespread concern at China and abroad in recently.After I try to figure out what happened for this event and analysis with "Identity Theory",to study Hong Kong's unique path of identity development in-depth,then put forward the overall ways and strategy of strengthening the national identity of Hong Kong.In the analysis of the Special Administrative Region of Hong Kong(HKSAR)on the issue of identity,the author based on four themes--'Local consciousness','identity myth','political confusion' and 'cultural barriers' to explore the process of identity crisis that from reason to result and from implicit to explicit.There is no doubt that the international context of this article is the use of the British and American international forces in the identification of Hong Kong.In the meantime,according to the problems that showed from the theoretical and realistic comparison,this part mainly explored the breakthrough of the sense of Identity development,and then discovered the solution which corresponds from the cultural,political,economic and ideological aspects.
