With the promotion of pressure increasing,especially in the line position of civil servants at the grass-roots level of work pressure has reached unprecedented levels.Compared to other industries civil servant’s job burnout index is high,especially in the civil servants at the grass-roots level.This will make an impact on the quality of their work and life,and even affect the stability of the whole civil servants and the government’s administrative ability construction.This paper takes Suzhou a gleam of grass-roots civil servants as investigation object and research the relationship between working pressure,job burnout and turnover intention.The first part,through reading Chinese and foreign literature,I understood the concept and dimension of work stress,job burnout and turnover intention The second part,this paper contains 3 variables: work stress,job burnout and turnover intention.I choose working pressure as the independent variable,job burnout as intermediary variable and turnover intention as the dependent variable.According to these I proposed related hypothesis.Then I chose 250 civil servants at the grass-roots level working in the following agencies: the land tax,the office of the streets,police station,court,etc.The third part,firstly I used descriptive statistical analysis found that the civil servants at the grass-roots level has lost enthusiasm for work and dissatisfaction with working conditions and they are having turnover intention now.After that I used the method of empirical study to verify the above hypothesis and double confirmed the relationship between working pressure,job burnout and turnover intention.The forth part,according to the results of the empirical analysis,I propose some suggestions and countermeasures at working pressure and job burnout.This study selection and data collection in the measurement scale has some deficiencies.I will make every effort to keep improving survey scale in future research to guarantee the purity of survey data and improve the reliability and validity of the survey data.
