Research On Architecture And Evolution Of The Shanghai Cooperation Organization Based On Weighted Network Model

China,Russia,Kazakhstan,Kyrgyzstan,Uzbekistan and Tajikistan announced the establishment of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization(SCO)as a permanent Inter-governmental international organization on June 15,2001 in Shanghai China.The SCO is the only regional organization which established within China and named after a Chinese city.The social network analysis and complex networks theory,which were popular in the recent years,provided us a new paradigm of quantitative research to study the relations among countries.The processes of decision analysis based on model emulation and experimental result has gradually taken over the traditional one which was relied on prediction.Structure of network was analyzed by longitudinal networks.An intervention experiment based on the weighted network was introduced after that.We could obtain some excellent results of the experimental scheme which would occur in the future.The main points are as follow:(1)We provided a new research perspective to study the SCO.By combining the longitudinal networks and intervention experiment,we can understand the structure and evolution properties of the network better.The weighted network can show us a better way to solve the problems which were existed in the topology research about the regional organization.The policymakers can evaluate the reasonableness of the results as the simulations were all based on strong practical background.(2)We provided a weighted network model of the SCO which can influence on perception.It has been built and calculated that the strength of 6 members of the SCO and the 3 nations in intervention group.The national strength was introduced into the fitness model as the finite support,and it is more grounded in reality than the previous one.And the model could fit the selection bias among different kind of countries with the help of the Variable Local-world Evolving Network.The simulation results and theoretical analysis both verified the scale-free property of the intensity distribution.(3)We studied the intervention experiment of the weighted network in a certain context of scenario.We analyzed the changing trends by abstracting the process of the longitudinal networks.And we designed three kind of experiments which we called the Superpower,the Selection Bias and the Hostile Nations.As the performance of our algorithm is very stable,we can easily find and conform the main reason by comparing the differences before and after the nations in intervention group joint into the network.Finally,some policy recommendations were presented to policy makers,especially basing on the experimental results.
