Li Shizhen:the Pioneer Of Modern Police In China

The police system in modern China was founded in the late Qing dynasty.And it fully developed in the period of the Republic of China.Li Shizhen,as a police educator and expert in the period of modern China,engaged in police work process all his life.Li Shizhen’s thought in the practice of police education not only has a great influence in the field of education,but also reflected in the field of police reform,police personnel system and others.The thought of police administration has a distinctive character of the times.Li Shizhen’s thought of police administration came into being in the great change of the Republic of China,and the reform of the police administration of the Westernization Group reflected the whole process of the police reform since the end of Qing dynasty.The police thought has a distinct modernity.His thoughts of police politics draw lessons from the modern theories of the western countries,and at the same time,they do not lose the traditional Chinese cultural genes.Li Shizhen is principal of national police education,diligent study,writing rich,modern Chinese.He is a typical representative of the pioneer of police science.On the study of police,he left proof in many aspects,such as police education,police management,police and other writings,and these areas were at the time of the process of modernization.This paper mainly adopts the research methods of historical,empirical and text.On the basis of previous studies,through the study of Li Shizhen’s works,the police and the police of the Republic of China historical method,the writer puts forward their views on the basis of analysis and consideration,to enrich Li Shizhen’s police thought.Li Shizhen’s police thought is so complex,involving many aspects of police reform,only a more systematic exposition can reflect the whole picture of his theory.In order to present Li Shizhen’s political thought and its origin and development comprehensively,this paper adopts the structure of classified discussion.In this paper,the author reviews Li Shizhen’s thought on police education,police work,the theory of modern police,his position and influence in the reform of police administration.The research of Li Shizhen’s police theory system is an academic mission of people today.After all,our governance and the progress of social civilization is moving forward in this historical basis.
