On Marx’s Evaluation Criterion Of Social Development And Its Contemporary Value

Social development is the process of social practice that is human beings create history,so evaluating human social practice is conducive to unity the regularity and purposiveness of social development.Marx’s evaluation criterion of social development is an important part of the Marxist social philosophy and theory of development,and studying of it has important theoretical and practical significance.On the existing research results,this paper will further use the research method of uniting logic and history and follow the principle of combining theory with practice to evaluate Marx’s evaluation criterion of social development theory which is the research basis points of this paper,and all based on Marx’s classics.By exploring the theoretical origin of that theory forming,this paper analyzes the process of germinating,forming,developing and maturing of Marx’s evaluation criterion of social development theory,and builds up the content system of it,thereby thinks that Marx’s evaluation criterion of social development is an organic system including the evaluation criterion of human beings,the productivity development,the political civilization and the ecological harmony,and thereinto the evaluation criterion of human beings’ comprehensive and free development is the core and highest criterion to measure social development,and also is the fundamental starting point and the highest end-result of productivity development,political civilization and ecological harmony.The significance of theoretical research lies in gui ding practice.This paper reveals the enlightenment of Marx’s evaluation criterion of social development for building socialism with Chinese characteristics by combing Chinese Communists’ inheritance and development to it in different historical stages,and combining with the actual situation of Chinese contemporary social development.This paper considers that in the current historical circumstances,China should continue adher ing to promote human beings’ comprehensive and free development,strengthen the construction of socialist market economy,perfect the construction of socialist political civilization and constantly promote the harmony between human and nature,so as to provide theoretical basis for the development of our society,and provide theoretical guidance for our country to build a comprehensive well-off society and achieve the great rejuvenation of Chinese nation,so that build our country into a prosperous,democratic,civilized and harmonious modern socialist country.
