Study On The Preferential Policy Of Bus Travel For The Elderly In Guangzhou

With the aging of our population intensified,the state is paying more and more attention to the social problems of the elderly population.The elderly are an important member of the social family.They are also important clients in the urban public traffic.We should be concerned with the travel conditions of the elderly.To solve the problem of the Aged traffic is an urgent need in Aging society.In the field of urban public transport,preferential policies for the elderly in Guangzhou were established in 2001,through the " preferential treatment for the elderly in Guangzhou ".At that time,it was highly authoritative.This policy reflects the humanity civilization,embodies the tradition of respecting,reflects the traditional style of respect for the elderly.This policy has achieved very good results,but there are some problems in the implementation process.In order to better analyze and solve the problem,this paper carried out this policy research.This paper analyzes the population distribution and bus travel characteristics of the elderly population in Guangzhou.This article describes the policy development process,implementation measures and implementation results,and to identify the existing problems.On the basis of policy analysis,the paper puts forward the three principles of policy adjustment,and finally puts forward three suggestions on the current policy,using the Smith model theory to grasp the five influencing factors of the problem.
