Abstract/Summary:
Mass viewpiont is the position and attitude about how Marxist political party treat the mass. The Communist Party of China has always maintained its flesh-and-blood ties with people since its establishment. It gradually formed and enriched its mass viewpoint and mass line.Faced with the profound and complicated developments and changes in the world and the Party,Xi Jinping inherits and develops the CPC’s mass viewpoint. He enrichs its connotation with his unique style of language and governing.Firstly,Xi Jinping’s mass viewpoint forms from Marxist mass viewpoint and Chinese traditional people-based thought. And he also learns from the experience and lessons of public support in ancient China, the CPC’ mass work and some other countries’ regime change. His personal growth and political experiences, his thinking and practice in the party-mass relationship provide his mass viewpoint a realistic basis.Xi Jinping’s mass viewpoint is connotation-rich and distinctive, which consists of four aspects, that the Chinese people’s happiness is the Party’s goal, the Chinese people are the source of strength for the Party, the essence of the mass work is to strengthen the relation between the Party and the mass, the mass line is the lifeline of the Party and the basic route to work.Xi Jinping’s mass viewpoint is of great theoretical and practical significance. On one hand,it opens up a new realm of Marxist mass viewpoint. It enrichs the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics and consolidates the theoretical basis for the long-ruling CPC.On the other hand,it strengthens the Party’s construction. It achieves the positive interaction between the Party and the mass, and it also promotes the construction of the civic culture.
