Geography Analysis Of Criminal Case In Xinzhou City

Crime is the inevitable phenomenon and the negative result of social development,it is also one of the important factors that threaten social stability,human life and property safety and social public order.Current economic development emerges the diversification of social development,the informatization of science development,crime present new changes and new characteristics.As geography is one of the influencing factors of crime,social geography in research of some crime that has obvious regional characteristics has a unique advantage and value,derived a edge discipline that is crime geography.The crime geography belongs to the social geography,is a cross subject of criminology and geography,in the perspective of geography,research phenomenon occurrence,development and distribution,help to set the policy for crime prevention and control.Western countries began to study this subject in the early 1840 s and obtained some valuable research results.Although it is such an important subject,Chinese academic research emphasis on individual crime,having in-depth research of criminal psychology,ignore the research on crime of geography that system has not been formed,especially the study of a particular city.Based on the basic theory of criminal geography in Xinzhou city,Shanxi Province as the study unit,using the research method of combining quantitative and qualitative analysis system to study the Xinzhou city regional distribution,the cause of the crime,the criminal and the relationship of the geographical environment systematically.On the basis of the criminal prevention and control ways,it provides methods and Suggestions of preventing crime.This paper is divided into five parts:The first part,namely chapter one,mainly summarized the crime geography research background and significance,the research both at home and abroad and research methods and theoretical basis of this article.The second part,namely chapter two,from two aspects,natural geography and human geography,introduces the Xinzhou city geography,illustrate the importance of the study of the crime in Xinzhou city.The third part,namely chapter three,the paper analyzes the relationship of Xinzhou’s criminal and its related influencing factors,it is concluded that the economic level,population,employment,consumption level,age,sex,culture level,occupational structure and censusregister seat factors will have an effect to the criminal,and analyzed the cause of their influence.The fourth part,namely chapter four,studies the Xinzhou city criminal laws of space and time.First of all,it through the study the relationship between Xinzhou city crime and the season,the time distribution concludes the criminal crime season and time distribution,illustrates the causes of this law.Second,from urban,rural area,XinFu district,three aspects analyzes the spatial distribution law of criminal crime,and explains the reason.The fifth part,namely chapter five,from the perspective of individual,nature,humanities,provides methods and Suggestions of preventing crime of Xinzhou city.In the end of the article,it concludes this paper’s research,finds problems and deficiencies and puts forward the outlook of crime geography,hoping the next research can be more completed.
