Research On The Political Socialization Of Community Residents From The Perspective Of New Media

Since the reform and opening-up,the reform of the national political,economic and cultural systems is deepening continuously.Under this circumstance,the reform of social management system is also in steady progress.Among them,the community as a new type grass-roots level social management organization has been developing rapidly.In the process of community development,the problem of community residents' political socialization is not only the crucial factor of maintaining community stability and promoting the development of community,but also the important method of guaranteeing the realization of the grassroots level democracy.Moreover,it is related to the degree of recognition of the community residents to the social and political culture.At present,with the development of science and technology,human has entered the era of new media.It has had profound impacts on people's life especially the political life.The rise of new media has changed the pattern of traditional media.Its development has become an indispensable part of the political socialization in the modern society.The political socialization construction of community residents is an important step of the modern democratic political construction.Therefore,promoting the political socialization construction of community residents with the help of new media has both research value and practical significance.This paper embarks on discussing the relationship between the new media and the political socialization of community residents.In this paper,the definition and characteristics of new media and the concept of the community and political socialization have been analyzed thoroughly.This paper has clarified the real predicament which political socialization of community residents is facing under the influence of traditional media.It has also expounded the advantages of new media in the community residents' political socialization and put forward the path of the community residents' political socialization under the circumstance of new media.The wide use of new media in the community residents' political socialization not only enriches the community residents' political socialization in the aspects of form and method,but also promotes the construction of socialist democratic politics.
