| Prison, is the state organs of penal execution, and prison management is also a part of the social management. The functions of the prison include not only the punishment of criminals, but also the reform of criminals. Punishment of criminals, is the basic function of the prison; the reform of criminals, is the fundamental purpose of prison execution of the penalty, and also the core functions of the prison. The three basic means of prison reform in our country are supervision, education, labor reform; the work principle is "the combination of punishment and reform, in order to transform the human purpose". Due to historical reasons,under the planned economic system,our country’s prison function has been expanded, and the prison not only has the function of punishing and reforming the criminals, but also has the function of the enterprise. Since the reform and opening up,prison management in China has made great progress, but there are still many problems in practice, such as backward supervision concept, heavy labor light education, extensive management mode, low personnel quality, etc. Therefore, in the new historical environment, in-depth research on the management system of Prison Criminals, for me the prisoner management reform and innovation is of great significance.In the course of the study, the author refers to a large number of references, the domestic and foreign research results and practical experience, through the study of Chinese prison supervision theory and criminal reform achievement in the period of new China and reform and opening up, sorting out the change of the concept of Prison Criminals supervision in China, the author puts forward that we should uphold the people-oriented philosophy under the current overall background of the rule of law. At the same time, based in Hainan Province, Meilan prison makes use of work convenience, the work of Prison Criminals management made an on-the-spot investigation to obtain first-hand information on the basis of the analysis of Hainan Meilan criminals in prison management, points out the existed problems of prison management in China, and analyzes seriously the causes of these problems. At the end of the paper, the author puts forward some corresponding countermeasures to the reform and innovation of criminals in prison management in China, in order to unceasingly improve the management level of criminal prison in China, and to guard the last line of defense of human fairness and justice well. |
