Research On Mao Zedong’s Combating Corruption And Upholding Integrity Thought And Its Contemporary Value

As an important part of Mao Zedong theory,Mao Zedong’s combating corruption and upholding integrity thought is the theoretical and practical result summarized through revolution and construction of China led by Comrade Mao Zedong,and also serves as the guideline and criterion Communist Party of China and the government follows in fighting against corruption all the time.Mao Zedong’s anti-corruption thought not only absorbs the essence from ancient Chinese traditional anti-corruption ideas,but also inherits and develops Marx’s anti-corruption thought,featuring its own distinctive characteristics.The first generation of leadership represented by Comrade Mao Zedong has always attached great importance to anti-corruption,and performed scientific investigation and analysis to the specific situation of China,and on this basis,creatively put forward a series of anti-corruption theories,forming the thought of Mao Zedong’s anti-corruption.This paper mainly studies "anti-corruption ideology" on the basis of Mao Zedong’s anti-corruption thought,and discusses the origin,development course,main contents and characteristics of Mao Zedong’s anti-corruption thought,analyzes the causes of corruption and necessity of anti-corruption from the source,put forward the basic measures of fighting against corruption such as strengthening ideological education,democratic supervision,style building and the construction of legal system,with cultivating merit-based cadres as fundamental task and serving the people wholeheartedly as the basic guiding ideology of anti-corruption.In addition,this paper summarizes the inheritance and innovation,supervision ability and self-discipline,as well as theoretical and practical,persistent and fundamental features of Mao Zedong anti-corruption thought,striving to give full play to Mao Zedong ideas against corruption at the macro level,providing theoretical basis and guidance for China’s current anti-corruption construction and struggle,and then explore the value of Mao Zedong’s anti-corruption thought in strengthening communist party-building,consolidating communist party’s position,building a harmonious and socialist society,promoting the development of well-off society and rejuvenating the great Chinese nation.
