Functional Analysis Of Urban Community Intermediary Organization

The earliest concept of “community” is from Ferdinand Tonnies,especially refers to the intimate community founded on blood kinship,regional relation and relationship.But now the universal understanding of “community” is different from the past.,it is a fixed area with identity and belonging due to common life of residents,which is a important concept in sociological research.One side because residents living in the community,where people can live and rest.On the other hand,community is the foundation of society,where social change is reflected.So community is the intermediate link between residents and society,which is a important concept in sociology.Then we can touch micro interactive field and macro social change.So I take community as my research object.In the 1980 s.China transformed from a planned economy to a socialist market economy because of reform and opening policy.The previous urban management system-the unit system gradually disintegrated.Instead community system become mainstream in urban management field.So the residents moved into the unit of city gradually become community people.But they generally feel confused because they cannot get the protection of government like before.In order to cope with the change of social transformation,our government began to promote community building and community reform in the 1990 s,they put the social service down to the community,the Street Office and Neighborhood committee taking responsible for,in order to provide a more stable and harmonious community environment.Indeed,in the recent years,the community building of our government has achieved great success,in community facilities and environment,also in community medical and security,the construction of community pension service is gradually improved.However,our government is increasingly unable to meet the needs of the people in many ways.But community business organizations provide a lot of convenience services and community intermediary organization meet the spiritual and cultural needs of residents to a great extent.At this developing stage of our country,the community organizations are becoming the medium of individual adaptive society.In the growing community organizations,the emergence and development of community intermediary organizations come from the growth of social power.So we should take it as the key to social management system reform.The concept of community intermediary organizations has just been proposed in the last ten years,which is out of government and market,but is different from community intermediary organizations from the western developed countries.It is between the community subject organizations and the residents,which has Chinese characteristics.However,the community intermediary organizations in western countries are between the residents and the government.Although there are some differences between our country and the western countries,but this does not affect our study and discussion of the two.The community intermediary organizations can meet diverse needs of residents,also promote the grass-roots social construction of our government,and then become a part of national pluralistic governance.So it is important to explore them,because their growth and development are related to the development of endogenous power and civil society construction.This article will introduce different types of community intermediary organizations in Community Z,explore their meanings for residents,community building and national governance,put forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions according to the question of community intermediary organization in present stage.My paper is divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction,this part introduces the background and purpose of my research.The second part is the theoretical overview,this part introduces the research at home and abroad.The third part is the empirical part,selecting Community Z as the research object,it is divided into three types:interest organization,activity organization,service organization,I will explore the value of it in three aspects,including micro value,medium value and macro value.Then I will find the problem of it in organizational external environment,organizational development resources and organization internal management.Last I will seek the countermeasures of it in government side,community aspect and personal aspects of residents.The fourth part is the conclusion---the summary of this article...
