Study On The Legislation Of Urban Community Autonomy In China

Since the 21st century,our urban community autonomy construction has been well developed,the concept of community has been widely understood and recognized by residents.However,with the rapid progress of the rule of law society,some examples occurs in practice shows that the legal system of urban community autonomy is not perfect,the relevant laws and regulations are seriously lagging behind,hindering the pace of community advancement and restricting the development of community autonomy.the "Organic Law of the Urban Residents Committees of the PRC" as the main manifestation of community autonomy legislation,representing the whole community legislation condition,the "Organic Law of the Urban Residents Committees of the PRC" has been implemented for 28 years,according to the current urban community development process,the law's content is not detailed,lack of operational provisions of the law,the urban resident committees and the government,the relationship between civil society organizations,terms of reference and other content is not specified.Therefore,with the acceleration of the process of community autonomy,the "Organic Law of the Urban Residents Committees of the PRC" has been incompatible with the current social situation,should be modified as soon as possible to meet the requirements of urban grassroots democracy and political development.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,this thesis has three main parts.The first part is an overview of urban community autonomy,briefly introduces the relevant concepts of urban community autonomy;The second part introduces the current situation and existing problems of the "Organic Law of the Urban Residents Committees of the PRC";The third part gives the suggestions for the existing problems in legislation.
