A Tentative Study On The Spread Of Mao Zedong’s Works In Japan And Its Enlightenment

Various books of Mao Zedong are described as Mao Zedong’s works in this thesis.Mao Zedong thought is mainly reflected in Mao Zedong’s works,which are the object of Chinese book’s external communication and translation in the last century.Mao Zedong’s works were translated by Japan in the largest number,which is an important country for importing Mao Zedong’s works.The process of terminating Japan’s domestic chaos was shortened by learning Mao Zedong’s works,referring to the experience of victory of Chinese revolution and applying the thought of Mao Zedong’s military and philosophy to Japanese domestic struggle.Based on the spread of Mao Zedong’s works in Japan,the reasons for communication,approaches to transmission,impacts of this communication activity and its enlightenment are analyzed respectively in this thesis.Study on the spread of Mao Zedong’s works in Japan is conducive to provide reference for implementing cultural strategy of “going out”,it makes for presenting the achievements of Chinese characteristic socialism theory to the world,and it is helpful to enrich and develop Marxist theory and promote the communication of human civilization.There are seven chapters in this thesis.The first chapter is brief introduction,including the origin of this topic,status,significance,methods and innovations of this research.The second chapter is mainly about the general situation of translation and publishing of Mao Zedong’s works in Japan,including three parts: firstly,an overview of Mao Zedong’ s works will be made,some representative books of Mao Zedong will be introduced,and then the Selected Works will be chosen as an example to support this thesis,thus the situation of Japanese translation editions of Selected Works and comparative analysis of translations from China and Japan will be implemented.The third chapter is mainly about the division of stages of communication,namely initial,developmental,climactic and reduced stage.In the forth chapter,the ways of spreading Mao Zedong’s works to Japan will be analyzed,including folk,official organizations and translated from other countries.In the fifth chapter reasons for spreading Mao Zedong’s works to Japan will be illustrated,in which inner,historical and cultural as well as realistic reasons will be involved.In the next chapter,the influences and deficiencies of spreading will be presented from the aspect of Japan,China and the whole world.Then in the last chapter,the enlightenment for building Chinese theory,today’s external communication of culture and sinicization of Marxism will be demonstrated by analyzing all the situations of this activity.
