Problems In The Ideological And Political Education For Township Grassroots Leaders And Countermeasures

In the report of the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, General Secretary Xi Jinping once again reaffirmed that China dream is shaped with “Two Centuries” as the goal. The priority in the construction of a well-off society at the one hundred year of establishment of the Communist Party of China is the construction of new countryside. And in this construction,grassroots leaders in towns and villages play an important role as pacesetters,guides. So creating a township grassroots leaders team with “strong political ideas, professional skills and upright working styles” is the forceful guarantee for the construction of a well-off society. The talents employing standard of“having both morality and ability with the former as priority” established by the Communist Party of China interprets the important role of ideological and political education in the cultivation of leaders. In this paper, literature research method, comparison, systematic analysis, interview and survey were used to define the ideological and political education for township grassroots leaders,analyze its status quo, and find out those excellent practices with actual values and those deficiencies so as to reveal its problems. Although some valuable experiences in the ideological and political education for township grassroots leaders were accumulated, some problems demanding prompt solutions has arisen in their recognition of importance, policy and cultural levels, leaders' age structures, working mechanisms. Based on the present core principles which the research on the problems in and countermeasures for the ideological and political education for township grassroots leaders centers on, some effective measures were take. In view of its working nature, essential needs and correct ideas, aiming at its starting point and key point, the construction of regulations,mechanisms and practical verification. The purpose is to let the government adopt all kinds of suggestions by deeply understanding and researching the problems in work. Then more overall, constructive and practical measures and suggestions were put forward in the ideological and political education for township grassroots leaders. In this way, the township leaders are able to shoulder their supposed responsibilities and missions,providing the fundamentalpolitical guarantee to build a well-off society in an all-round way in China.
