| Training successors to proletarian revolution is an important part of Mao Zedong thought. It is not only an important issue of politics research, but also an significant matter of Party construction research. As a proletarian revolutionist, politician, militarist and strategist, Mao Zedong was always attached great importance to the cultivation, selection and formation of successors from the strategic perspective of the nation’s peace, prosperity of socialist cause and eternity of red political power. For this, Mao Zedong made great efforts and put forward many contemporary and creative thoughts. Since 1949, especially in Mao Zedong’s later years, he realized the urgency of developing successors more and made clearer about the inconceivable leadership position of proletarian revolution leaders toward proletarian revolutionary cause. In the periods of socialist construction, Mao Zedong proposed the standards of successors of proletarian revolution and explored ways to cultivate successors of proletarian revolution. It is important to study, interpret and summarize thoughts of Mao Zedong, especially for realizing the Chinese Dream, it has both practical and historical significance.The content of this paper is mainly divided into four parts, and has discussed the detailed and systematic exposition of Mao Zedong’s theory and practice of training successors":The first part is about the international and domestic form. Firstly, it expounds the complex and changeable international background of Mao Zedong’s "training successor thought and practice", and then discusses the domestic background of the urgent and important form.In the second part, the author seizes the Mao Zedong’s life story to discuss the content of Mao Zedong "training successor thought and practice" (significant content mostly), and describes the training successors of the Mao Zedong’s five conditions and ways of cultivating successors. Then the author has introduced the new democracy and Mao Zedong thought and practice of training successors in socialist construction period. Meanwhile, author has introduced Mao Zedong’s main thought and practice of cultivating successors in his later years.In the third part, the author has made objective and systematic evaluation to Mao Zedong’s historical position, practical significance and limitations of "training successor thought and practice".The fourth part is about the enlightenment given by Mao Zedong’s "training successor thought and practice".This paper tries to do deep and systematic research to Mao Zedong’s "training successor thought and practice", and has made objective and accurate evaluation to explore the experience and lesson from Mao Zedong’s thought of cultivating successors and its practice and has given reference to the future Party leader development. |
