Study Of Contemporary Social Flaunt Wealth Problems And Countermeasures

With the rapid and steady development of China's socialist market economy and the comprehensive development of globalization in China,with the help of the Internet platform development gradually,the phenomenon of “flaunt wealth” spreads all over our country in recent years,it's influence has radiated to many fields such as society,economy,culture and so on.In order to meet their personal vanity,they show their wealth through network,which aroused widespread resentment and even hatred from public.From the perspective of affected groups,the phenomenon has not only hurt the self-confidence and self-esteem of China's migrant workers and the groups of low incomes,but also misled the teenagers of mentally immature,which is easy to make teenagers imitate and induced hedonism and money values.In recent years,research showed that,with the upgrade of network technology and the comprehensive development of economic globalization in China,the phenomenon of “flaunt wealth” appeared increasingly frequently,the people who “flaunt wealth” presented the tendency of younger and more inclined to use networking platform,which not only distorted people's values and worsened the social atmosphere,but also completely rejected the traditional virtues of "thrift,plain living and hard struggle",therefore,cultivate the concept of rational consumption and a correct outlook on life and values is very important and significant.This paper defining the “flaunt wealth” according to the related research results at home and abroad,I found the main problems of “flaunt wealth” in contemporary according to analysis the questionnaires from people of different professions and age in Hangzhou City.Firstly,age group showed a tendency of concentrating on “post-80” and “post-90”,in the ideas,they pursue the individualism value of hedonism and exclusive concern with money,in lifestyle,they pursue extravagance and blindly follow a pragmatic and comparisons,in terms of relationship,they mock the civilian population and deteriorate social relations with others.These actions are not benefit to their health and corrupting social values and consumption concept,they will intensify social contradictions which is not conducive to social harmony and sustainable development,meanwhile,they will play down the belief towards life of people,distort people's attitude to money and values,pollute the ecological environment and accelerate China's consumption of resources and energy.In my view about the reasons of the phenomenon of “flaunt wealth” can come down to below several points,incomes and the gap between rich and poor,face culture,the influence of parents and peer group,traditional ideas' suppression,consumerism and its culture is widely spread in China,their own values and psychological complexity of the people who “flaunt wealth”.In my study,aim at the negative effects and causes of the phenomenon of “flaunt wealth”,I give the following countermeasures: the government should implement effective reforms from multi-domain,optimize the social environment and culture for effective network regulation,give full play to the positive role of the mass media,improve their media culture,enhance their ability to identify.
