Research On The Reform Of Funeral And Interment System Of China

The traditional funeral management system in our country was the governmental regulation model that was adjusted with the planned economic system and the highly centralized political system. However, the old system of funeral management is constantly hit from the wave of reform with the advancement of the economic system reform and administrative management system reform in our country. The challenge that our existing funeral management system is facing has showed that the old funeral management system can not be compatible with the requirement of socialist market economy and Social Harmonious Development. Therefore, to further advance the funeral management system reform in our country has a profound significance under this background.We have acquired some progress in some fields of the funeral management system reform in our country, since our country continues to promote the reform of administrative system. However, during the process of funeral management reform, some problems still could not be solved, such as the functions of government have not been completely transformed, no distinction between government administration and public institution administration etc. These problems have seriously hindered the development of the funeral business, and suppressed the innovation of the funeral management system model. One of the most important reasons that have caused these problems in the funeral management system reform is that the lack of a systematic, scientific theoretical guidance and support in the field of funeral management system reform. Therefore, to further deepen the reform of the funeral management system has become an urgent problem to solve in the theoretical cycle and practice circle.This article is divided into five parts, Mainly studied from the following aspects:The first is the introduction. It mainly discussed the reasons to choose the theme of this dissertation, the literatures in overseas and domestic research status, the research route and content, the study methods and innovation points in this dissertation.The second is to define the relevant concepts of funeral management system reform, introduce the theoretical basis and its application in this dissertation.The thirdly is to carry on the historical division of the funeral management reform in our country, and analyze the issues existing in the reform.The fourthly is to introduce the model of The European and American countries’ funeral management system, then summarize the experience of these models, as well as the enlightenment of the experiences on funeral management system reform in our country. Besides, to raise the point that we should rationalize the relationships between the government, market and society, to clear the direction of the funeral management system reform in our country and to put forward the countermeasures of China’s funeral reform of management system.The fifth is the conclusion. Only to face the problems that existing in the funeral management system reform in our country, and consistently research, summarize, rethink the reform of funeral management system, can we lay a good foundation for the funeral management system reform.
