Contemporary theories present distinctive interdisciplinary features that aesthetic theories,literary theories,cultural theories,and art theories are intertwined together.As an important aspect of contemporary sensory politics,visual politics from the subjective perception of the structure of the structure and the perception of the expression of the mechanism,both highlight the social factors of generation and political operation mechanism.Based on the congruence of contemporary French leftist aesthetic ideas and the internal differences of their theories,their visual political studies present different theoretical interests.The paper took May 1968 as the time node to launch Althusser's research on the aesthetic problems of contemporary French leftist thinkers on visual politics.The content is mainly divided into four chapters,which the politics of seeing,visual representation system and image production,the visual expression mechanism and the contemporary expressions of images/films.Political analysis of seeing is based on reflections on subjectivity and modernity.It is presented as a dynamic interpretation of subject-object relations,seeing objects,and seeing behaviors.It reveals the hidden political and cultural implications behind the seeing mechanism and power performance.Merleau-Ponty focused on the relationship between subject and object from the perspective of the invisible to the visible operating mechanism.The theory of Lacan's gaze reveals the important meanings of visual desire,identity and physical perception in the seeing behaviors.Foucault puts a visual critique of modern society in the link between power and discourse.On the study of contemporary visual representation systems and image production,Guy Debord,Baudrillard,and Paul Villilio analyzed the multiple illusionary forms of commodity society in the contemporary era.The symbols such as “simulacra” and “simulation” poured into the capital ideology constitute a contemporary new type of visual ideographic system,and form an implicit violence against the real world.The two-way interaction between visual technology and image reproduction is to reshape and rewrite the way people perceive and experience.The visual expression mechanism as an important dimension in the study of visual politics aims to establish the logical connection between the visual ideographic mode and perceptual communication.Barth's mythological political analysis and Althusser's ideological theory are all presenting images of rhetoric,coding closely with ideology and exposing the illusion of visual aesthetics meticulously woven by ideology.Rancière proposes the use of image systems to present the way in which things are spoken or silenced.“Image-sentences” and “film fables” become new artistic standards that constitute the community of sensuous experiences.The contemporary expressions of image/film examine how the image of a philosophical context realizes the presentation of sensible objects and the sensuous visitation.As a set of sensible experiences,how does a set of devices of sensible experience achieve the intervention of real politics and the memory of history,rewrite and recapture bare life.From Deleuze to Rancière and Badiou,the political attitude and perceptual logic of image art are expressed in complex intertwining's.“De-imaging” has become an effective solution to dispel the political fog of images and the “people” become a political subject with great aesthetics in contemporary images.
