| This report is the practice of the Interpretation of Blair’s Prime Minister’s Questions based on the Interpretive Theory.During the prime minister’s questions,all the members should obey the rules to make sure the speakers can enjoy his/her rights without chaos.And also,Prime Minister Questions include intensive information,involving with the UN’s Millennium Development Goals,earthquake,tsunami,floods and some other international and domestic affairs.Through this practice,we can know the British Parliament’s mechanism and improve our interpretation skills at the same time.The report consists of four chapters.The first chapter is a description of background,brief introduction of the Interpretive Theory and the purpose of this report.The second chapter is the process of interpretation,preparation and interpretation assistance.It gives a brief introduction to the development and main principles on interpretation theory.Chapter three is case study.It is the interpretation practice and analysis,including understanding,interpretation,exception of tacit understanding,interpretation and express.The main parts are humor,proper nouns and slogans interpretation.The following chapter summarizes the whole practice.It reveals the weaknesses and also experiences benefit the interpreters,as well as advice.The interpreters are able to obtain the process of interpretation practice,and this is also the meaning of this report.Meanwhile,the theory will be understood further by the interpreters through the practice,and also it will integrate the theory with practice. |
