The Studyon The Influence Oflife Events To College Students’ Positive Deviation

Optimism refers to an expectation of good,associated with people’s satisfaction with life,physical healthy and feelings of self-happiness.Optimistic bias means when compared with others,expected events under the condition of the risk of the same background,individual always believe that happy things happen to me,the not good things lie in others than himself.A survey of a pair of college students was conducted to make an overall survey of optimism bias in the early stage.According to the results of 183 college students,there is a general optimistic bias in the life events of college students,and there is no significant difference in the gender factor.The second is the priming effect experiment.This experiment is divided into two groups: the first group is the positive events and the negative events corresponding to ‘I’and ‘he’ initiation;The second group is actively corresponding neutral and negative events ‘I’ start with ‘he’.And then to the two groups of participants ‘I’and ‘he’ reaction,respectively,according to the results of the first group of target response for ‘I’ main effect is significantly faster than the target response for‘he’ event when sexual potency and the interaction of the target response significantly,namely whether under a start is negative or positive events,the experimenter for the target words ‘I’reactions are significantly faster than the target word for ‘he’.The second group is the result of the enthusiasm in events or neutral event started,the subjects for the target word ‘I’,the response was significantly faster than the target word‘he’,and on the negative side ‘I’ was significantly slower than the target word‘he’.The third study,the implicit association test,to determine the individual in the face of others,is try individuals to themselves and others than the possibility of a positive or negative life events size if there is a positive deviation.The experimental results show that under the conditions of compatibility and incompatibility,the response of subjects to the compatible class task is significantly faster than that of the incompatible response,namely the existence of IAT effect.Overall,these studies apply the methods of measurement and the experiment got the college students’ life events of widespread optimism bias,and there is no significant difference on gender,under neutral event start there is also a positive deviation,moreover in intimacy and the close relationship also reflected the optimism bias.
