A Study On Tujia Folk Songs Of Jianshi County,Enshi District In Hubei Province

The Tujia folk songs in Enshi,Hubei,have been imprinted for thousands of years.It is also an excellent carrier for recording and inheriting the folklore culture of Tujia people in China.It is an important part of Tujia national culture.The Tujia folk songs in Jianshi county are very important,and they are also an important part of our traditional Tujia folk songs.The formation and development of its "Huang four sister" culture also shows the unique artistic charm of the Jianshi Tujia folk songs and the strong will of the Jianshi people to excavate and inherit the local folk songs.Jianshi Tujia folk songs are integrated into all kinds of folk culture and daily life in Jianshi Tujia.It not only expresses the positive and optimistic attitude of the Tujia people,as well as the passionate and unrestrained character characteristics of the Tujia and their children,but also outlines a vivid picture of the social life,labor production,funeral marriage and religious activities of the Tujia people in Jianshi county.This reflects the aspirations and pursuits of the Tujia people in Jianshi for a better life.With the progress of the times and the development of music,more and more Tujia folk songs have been preserved and recorded.However,due to the change of economic lifestyle and the impact of various foreign cultures,the inheritance of Tujia folk songs is also facing unprecedented difficulties.Through the interview,the author learned that the original ecological culture is gradually declining and even changing because of the changes in the people’s production,life style and cultural and ecological environment brought by the social transformation.This causes the Tujia folk songs,which rely mainly on oral inheritance and simple form,to get into trouble.The study shows that Tujia folk songs in Jianshi county are intangible cultural heritage.So it is vital to its inheritance and protection.Facing the current situation of the inheritance of Tujia folk songs in Jianshi County,this article puts forward the following inheritance and protection suggestions:First of all,we must strengthen the government’s functional advantages and enhance the importance of intangible cultural heritage.Secondly,social organizations,experts and scholars should take the initiative tocooperate with and participate in the protection of local Tujia folk songs.Thirdly,the inheritors of the intangible cultural heritage can actively devote themselves to the inheritance of the local folk songs in Jianshi through the inheritance of apprenticeship,oral inheritance,social performing group performance,public welfare activities and other forms.Finally,we should dig into the additional value of the folk songs of the Tujia people in Jianshi,develop their tourism resources,cultural resources and economic resources,so as to explore the way of their sustainable development.
