By viewing vocal development history,it’s not difficult to find that the development of the Mezzo-Soprano in China does not show rising situation as that in Western countries,where the role has gradually gained attention.There’s not only very small number of works suitable for playing,but also most of such role has been in the position of the supporting role.What’s worse,the Mezzo-Soprano can only have the performance at the backstage as vocal accompaniment.In the opera Saying Good-bye to Cambridge Again,as the second actress,the Mezzo-Soprano Lu Xiaoman not only had a large number of arias,but also she had fully played her expressive performances.It can be said that Lu Xiaoman was the "first person" for the Mezzo-Soprano to really become the heroine of Chinese opera.The aria Forget Everything in Rotating in the opera was Lu Xiaoman’s first vocal solo song on the stage,which played a vital role in promoting the development of the story and revealing character traits.Based on the music noumenon analysis,the author in this thesis mainly analyzes four aspects of creation background,artistic image and characteristics,and singing style of the aria Forget Everything in Rotating,so as to better experience the unique charm of “Lu Xiaoman’s” Mezzo-Soprano for the author to perform it flexibly. |
