This research takes the junior high school students as the object,and selects four classes from grade one to grade three of two middle schools in Hohhot.The first study is to hand out the questionaire and scale on idolatry and self-identity to the students in two classes of each grade from grade one to grade three in order to understand,analyze the current situation of idolatry and self-identity,and the relationship of idolatry and self-identity;The second study is to explore how to guide junior high school students to understand idols more rationally and to actively promote the self-growth of them.The other two classes from grade one to grade three of junior high school students were displayed two pieces of different ppt experimental material,about Jackie Chan,the idol star,through between-subjects design.Each ppt material was displayed for about 15 minutes and then hand out the questionnaires.In this study,descriptive statistics were finished by SPSS 22.0,and it discussed the results by independent sample t-test,correlation analysis,general linear regression,single-factor ANOVA,multivariate analysis of variance and so on.The main findings are as follows:In study 1:1.Most junior high school students have idolatry phenomenon.There are significant differences in the dimensions of irrational worship among junior high school students of different genders.There is significant differences in irrational worship about different categories of idols and no significant difference in rational worship.2.There are significant differences in the dimensions of "the desire for future self-devotion" among junior high school students of different genders.3.For junior high school students,there are most students in the middle state of "Identity Moratorium and Identity Diffusion",and the least are in the "Identity Diffusion ".4.It is significantly related between the rational worship of junior high school students and the "the desire for future self-devotion",and rational worship has a certain predictive effect on the "the desire for future self-devotion".In study 2:1.There are significant differences in the dimensions of glorification,Idealization,identification,emulation,attachment under different experimental conditions.2.There are significant differences in the five dimensions of idolatry among junior middle school students in different grades,and differences only in the dimension of attachment of idolatry for junior middle school students in different genders.Through the basic investigation and data analysis of junior high school students' idolatry and self-identity to know the status of idolatry,and their relationship.And through the experimental design to guide junior high school students to idolatry more rational,to make the idol to be the model,and hope to help junior high school students to form self-identity indirect,and hoping to provide some theoretical support for the education of idolatry for junior high school students.
