Sexual Description Comparative Analysis Between Big Breast And Wide Hips And Hundred Yars Of Solitude

This thesis is based on text analysis and existing related research results,adopting contrast and analogy methods and using sexual description as the main entry point,parallels the author’s cultural traditions,art techniques,core character images,and the theme meaning of the works.The two masterpieces of One Hundred Years of Solitude and Big Breasts and Wide Hips both regard sexual behavior and sexual consciousness as a special and important aesthetic perspective that interprets human nature and analyzes history.They deeply excavate human nature and show compassion for national historical trauma.Consistency,and the similarity of some of the performance techniques,constitute the theoretical basis of the comparability of this paper.Because of the influence of different eras,traditions,life experiences and circumstances,the two works have obvious differences in the art of sexual description and the function of symbolic metaphor,which has become the focus of comparative research and analysis.The text consists of three parts:The first part chooses a perspective to describe the importance and particularity of the two works analytically,thus demonstrates the comparability of the two novels in sexual description.The second part analyzes the sexual descriptions in the two works systematically and expounds its artistic functions in character creation and plot promotion.The third part compares and analyzes the sexual consciousness descriptions of the two works from three perspectives,gender consciousness,sexual desire consciousness and reproductive consciousness,thus reveal the humanistic thinking contained in the neutral consciousness description of the novel,and concludes that the aesthetic utility of the two works’ sexual descriptions lies in exploring people’s struggles and choices when facing with fundamental problems of survival under extreme circumstances,with a detailed capture of individual emotions and life will,to reveal in depth the harmful effects of life consciousness contained in sexual instincts and sexual psychology in historical life situations,distortions and variations of good and evil.As two works with special ethnic backgrounds,the greatness of One Hundred Years of Solitude and Big Breasts and Wide Hips is not based solely on artistic expression.Both works connect different characters from each other in different perspectives,raising individual destiny into national destiny and even human destiny to reveal the complexity of human nature,reflecting the humanistic concerns shared by contemporary Chinese and foreign writers.Through the comparison of the two,we have seen that both One Hundred Years of Solitude and Big Breasts and Wide Hips have used the techniques of vague legends and realistic expressions to develop the sexual consciousness cultural descriptions of different ethnic groups and expressed their differences in their respective ethnic groups.
