| Composition,the general idea of painting,is a vital part of any kind of painting style.Sketch painting is no exception,as it has a long history,performance conception of the artistic features of small size.One outstanding representative of this style of painting is Master Ren of the Qing Dynasty,who was a proponent of the ‘Shanghai School’ of painting.Features of this ‘Shanghai School’ of painting are: good characters,flowers and landscapes,especially in the most exquisite sketch paintings,showing the artistic language as a breath of fresh air.The concept of the design works,being a fresh,rich,unique form of composition.This paper attempts to study the sketch painting ‘Flower and Bird’,Ren composition form,to discuss my understanding of the sketch painting composition in the form of experience and use in practice,as it will become the theoretical support of my graduation creation series.This paper first analyzes the origins to of the Ren Bonian sketch painting style,leading to the study of sketch painting composition form.Then it discusses the research results as well as the "silent fragrance" series of works;In addition,it discusses the embodiment of Ren Bonian composition in the form of painting in my works and to show the meaning of effect;Finally it discusses the importance of the practice of Ren Bonian sketch painting composition in the form of understanding and promoting the spirit of the Flower and Bird painting sketch.The paper obtains a deep appreciation of flower and bird painting through Ren’s theory and works,as well as "silent fragrance" series of works.The learned theory and techniques can be combined in creating new works by applying theory to practice.If flower and bird painting wants to keep pace with the times,we must learn to integrate classical elements into modern works,and create outstanding works with both the spirit of the times and the traditional methods. |
