A Study Of The Minqin People In Alxa Region

Alxa League is located in the western part of Inner Mongolia,near the west bank of the Yellow River and the western foot of the Helan Mountains.Since the Qing Dynasty,Alxa League was the habitat of Khoshut Erut Mongols,who maked their living onnomad.But since the beginning of Qing Dynasty,the activities of making a living of Han people in the area have never stopped.And of these people,Minqin is the most numerous in Gansu Province.As the key external force of the social changes in the Alax area,the Minqin people plays an important role in the social change process in the Alax area,and it is also a window for us to understand the social changes of the west of Hetao,Inner Mongolia.The study of the Minqin people in Alax area is not only a powerful perspective for us to grasp the history of the Han immigrants of inner mongolia area,but also to explore the breakthrough point of the relationship between the Han immigrants and the social changes in the western region of Inner Mongolia.This research is of great academic significance to the study of the history of the northern border areas of China,the Inner Mongolia immigration history and Inner Mongolia regional history.This paper mainly through mutual supplement and evidence what the Alax Left Banner archives Collection of the Han Nationality Immigration Archives and the author's First-hand information on social field survey,based on the summary of the Alxa Han Immigration,This article focuses on the migration of Gansu Minqin(Qing Dynasty called Zhen FangCounty)immigrants in Alxa region,It is more deeply discussed that Gansu Minqin people of migrating to Alax areatime slot,causes,characteristics,living conditions and social impacts problem,ect.Based on the localization of Gansu Minqin people in Alxa region,the paper further discusses the self-belongingness of Gansu Minqin people in Alxa region,and further elaborates the relationship between Gansu Minqin people and the social and historical changes in Alxa region.This paper consists of the preface,the text,conclusion,references,and appendices,more than 39000 words.In the preface,explained the reasons and significance of the topic,elaborated the current research situation and introduced the research methods,innovations and relevant historical materials of application.The main text consists of three parts.The first part is about the Han Nationality immigrant situation in Alxa region.It is discussed that immigrations origin,reasons and distribution of Minqin migrants from Gansu,Ningxia and other provinces.The second part focuses on the Minqin people has movesd in the Alxa region at different time,huaing Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China,after the establishment of new China three time phases.Including the Minqin people immigration reasons,ways,scale and their status quo of lifes.The third part centers the interaction between Minqin people and Alxa society.It mainly discusses the social life and occupation distribution of Minqin people in Alxa regin and discusses the Minqin immigrant effects on social influence of Alxa area and their self-identity problems.The conclusion is a summary and induction of the whole text.
