Research On The Spatial-temporal Characteristics Of Terrorist Organization And Activity

With the advance of the new wave of global terrorism,terrorism,such as the crucian carp which cross the river,endless.After 1968,terrorism entered the stage of modern terrorism,the type transformation and the scope of activities continue to expand,Whether transnational or dangerous are far more than in the past.Since the new century,the threat of terrorism has burst into the current international security "cancer",shows a trend of globalization.Under its influence,China's terrorist separatist forces once again recover,and to create a disaster in the northwest and southwest regions,gradually spread to the inland areas.On the one hand,the environment of outside intricate and unpredictable,on the other hand,domestic crisis raging and constant.It is imperative to immediately put into intensive research on terrorism in order to provide power for counter-terrorism.From the perspective of geographical space and based on the theory of knowledge system theory,this paper analyzed the temporal and spatial mechanisms of terrorist organizations and activity.There are four main aspects: the research framework and content of terrorism,the construction and application of evolution model,the spatial-temporal characteristics and analysis of terrorist activities and the spatial-temporal characteristics and analysis of terrorist organizations.By building the framework of terrorism research,in this paper,the specific content were determined from three dimensions: the theoretical research,the data research and the research methods.The theoretical research,from the perspective of behavior,this paper establishes the concept system of terrorism related problems,and defines the related concepts through statistical analysis.This paper classified the terrorist organizations from the perspective of Geography,and classified the terrorist activities from the perspective of intensity based on AHP.The data research,this paper constructed the T-OAM spatio-temporal data storage model,by collecting data on terrorist organizations,terrorists and terrorist activities,the establishment of a terrorist database,which can provide data support for the construction of evolutionary models,the analysis of terrorist organization evolution and the analysis of temporal and spatial characteristics of terrorist activities.The research methods,this paper established a set of methods to study the temporal and spatial mechanism of terrorist organizations and activities,analyze the process evolution,analyze the temporal and spatial characteristics and forecast the trend forecasting,and provide the basis and reference for the research of the relevant personnel.This paper constructed the evolution model of terrorism and has made a visual analysis.The evolution model of terrorism was put forward,and the rationality of the evolution model was verified by analyzing the development trend of terrorism in the world and the analysis of two typical terrorist organizations of "Qaeda" and "Islamic State".Then through the evolution of the stage,this made an judgement on the evolutionary phase of the active terrorist organization between 2011 and 2015.The results show that most of the current terrorist organizations are in the evolution of the second and fourth stage,part of the terrorist organization into the mature period,toward the "state" or "political party" the ultimate form of change,the global terrorism is in full swing.Through the way of temporal and spatial evolution of the tree,this paper visualized the course of development of terrorism and concluded that: Extreme national and religious terrorism own the strong momentum of development,and they are the mainstream of the current terrorism.Extreme nationalist terrorist organizations as a whole is slow to develop,their size is limited,the harm is relatively small;Extreme religious terrorist organizations are on the rise and development trend,it evolves fast,development potential;Extreme left and right-wing terrorist organizations to obtain new development,the global political landscape is quietly changing,geopolitical again "reshuffle" coming soon.Analyzes the spatial-temporal distribution characteristics of global terrorist activities and terrorist organizations.The results show that the development of terrorism and the geopolitical environment are closely linked,the international environment is an important factor affecting the development of terrorism.The distribution of terrorist activities in each hotspot area has different spatial-temporal distribution types,and different spatial-temporal types can provide reference for the development of targeted counter-terrorism policy.Terrorist activities in the surrounding area of China are active,the threat of external terror is growing.Domestic terrorist activities in a high incidence stage,mostly caused by Xinjiang Uygur separatist elements,in China's northwest and southwest of the formation of two active channels.The establishment of a global terrorist organization is stable and its headquarters are mainly located in Central Asia and West Asia in Europe and Asia."East Turkistan" to split Xinjiang for the purpose,it is the main terrorist organization that pose a threat to China.
