As one of the most influential composers and theoretician in China's contemporary era,Luo Zhongyrong can be described as writing and writing.Since the new period,he has integrated traditional folk elements with modern western composing techniques and created many high-level and influential music works,especially its innovative combination of pentaphonic and twelve-tone sequences.On this basis,he continued to explore and practice,formed his unique pitch system,and provided more possibilities for the development of Chinese new music.This article mainly focuses on the four art songs “Morning Glory”,“Twilight”,“Thoroughly” and “Past two or three” written by the composer in the later period using modern musical techniques.An in-depth analysis of the perspective of the sequence and pitch organization structure was conducted to interpret the keynote pitch design of the work and its internal structural logic.This article is divided into four chapters.The first chapter briefly describes the life of Luo Zhongyi,the stage of creation.The second chapter discusses several key points of art songs from literary themes and vocal melody writing techniques.The third chapter is the focus of this article.It deeply analyzes four works from the aspects of prototype sequence,pitch structure,musical structure and related composition techniques.The fourth chapter summarizes the four works from the aspects of the twelve-tone technique,music expression form,pitch structure,and music style,and looks at Luo Zhongyu's exploration of modern artistic song creation techniques from the perspective of development.I hope that the analysis of this article can provide some reference to study Luo Zhongyu's artistic songs for scholars.
