| The geometric form of oil painting is the presentation carrier of the external material that the artistic creator wants to convey,which is the appearance of its internal spirit and connotation.As a result,it’s concise,accurate and harmonious structure of the geometric shape can be used as the carrier of free expression in the practice of artistic creation.The paintings with geometrical forms are the products of the artists’ spirit,in other words,the artistic creators express their inner feelings and cognition to the world through the final art works.The main method used in this paper is literature research and the literature information mainly comes from relevant books,academic journals and pictorial books.Material analysis method is used to collect and obtain materials related to the research topic from a large number of materials,and then the information of these materials is collated.Finally,the relevant conclusions are concluded by analysis and summary.The spirit of the geometric form in the creation of oil painting is chosen as the research topic in this paper.First of all,the artistic features of the geometric form are discussed from three aspects: the ordering given by the modeling,the generalization of visual form and the planarity of the picture.Secondly,the germination and development of geometric form are discussed,at the same time,the application of geometric formal is also discussed from two aspects: concrete geometric deformation and abstract geometric deformation.Next,the spirit of the geometric form is introduced from three aspects as followings: the essence of form,the expression of color consciousness and the quality of the tactile,so as to form the spiritual appearance in the geometric form.Besides,the rational spirit of geometrical form and the embodiment of its recessive spirit are expounded from the following perspective: the rigorous and rational presentation of “numbers”,the spiritual transmission in the screen composition as well as the simplification and reconstruction of the basic constituent means.Finally,by the combination with theory and the practice of artistic creation,the influence of geometricalization on contemporary oil paintings isdiscussed from two aspects,that is,the analysis of effects of geometrical form on contemporary oil paintings and the author’s experience about geometrical form in the creative practice.What’s more,through the geometric deformation of objective things,the geometrical form of oil painting is shown to express the deep spiritual essence of the artistic creator,and the external aesthetic as well as the internal strong spirit created by the form.The geometric form of oil paintings with spirit of the times is the production of its era,because it can express the objective things through the works of art to form the resonance with the viewers,in the meantime,it can express the inherent characteristic of the artistic creator through the neutral geometric form. |
