A Study On The Belief In Guanyin In Zhoushan's Fishing And Rural Areas

Guanyin belief is a kind of worship Guanyin Bodhisattva to meet certain psychological needs culture.In the specific historical and geographical background,the Zhoushan archipelago area has formed a rather distinctive Guanyin belief.In the early stage,Zhoushan fishing village was an undeveloped land which was living on the sea,with inconvenient transportation and low productivity.Avalokiteshvara became a local sea god with far-reaching influence.Today,it also affects the production and spiritual life of the masses.This paper selects Dong Ao village of Daishan County in Zhejiang province Zhoushan City,the surrounding villages with depth of field of Guanyin temple for field reference,using the research methods of field investigation and research of the combination of literature,attempts to survey and study of Guanyin belief,rituals and beliefs of Guanyin belief focus on population characteristics,describes the current status of the rural influence Guanyin belief in rural areas and in the construction,help to promote the Zhoushan Islands District Rural and fishery culture.This paper is divided into six parts.The first part introduces the background and significance of this study,the status quo of the study of Guanyin belief,the research methods and the innovation of the article.The second part introduces the origin and distribution of Zhoushan fishing village of faith Guanyin,Guanyin Temple in Zhoushan focuses on rural and fishery distribution,scale and structure,around the Guanyin belief ceremony,media and religious ritual process in detail the ritual and belief of Guanyin belief group characteristics,highlighting the Guanyin belief in social production and life plays an important the leading role of the spirit.The third part is the manifestation of the Zhoushan fishing village of Guanyin belief is elaborated,respectively discusses the Zhoushan rural and fishery production and living,the fishermen to travel in the Guanyin belief phenomenon,implication of hidden behind the deep belief in Guanyin culture.The fourth part elaborates the three main characteristics of the Guanyin belief in the Zhoushan Fishing Village: the island character,the holy land effect character,and the cultural diversity,and thus deeply analyzes the uniqueness of Guanyin belief in Zhoushan Fishery.The fifth part of the Zhoushan fishing and rural Guanyin belief in a forward-looking thinking,and the inheritance of the belief in Guanyin put forward the corresponding policy recommendations.Guanyin belief culture in Zhoushan fishing village is a cultural phenomenon that has experienced thousands of years of historical accumulation.It has played a certain role in promoting the construction of a harmonious society in Zhoushan.The last part is the extension of the whole article.It also expounds the widespread phenomenon of Guanyin belief in Zhoushan fishing village and its important influence on the cultural construction of Zhoushan fishing village.
