| This is a report on the translation of chapter two of The Welfare of Layer Hens in Cage and Cage-Free Housing Systems,which was published by RSPCA.Australia.Chapter two,the main part of the article,is about the definition and assessment of layer hen welfare.This report could be divided into five parts.The first part is about the background,purpose and significance of the project.The second part analyzes the source text.The third part introduces the translation theory applied to this project and its application to the translation.The translation difficulties concluded by the translator and the solutions to them are discussed in part four.The last part focuses on the conclusion of the translation project.The translator has applied the integrated approach to the translation of The Welfare of Layer Hens in Cage and Cage-Free Housing Systems through which the translation difficulties and techniques of informative text on agriculture issues were explored and experience as well as lessons learned. |
