The Study Of WenXue In The Context Of Sino-western Cultural Communication

As a major literature publication has a great influence in the 1930s,Wenxue focus on translations of foreign literature continuously since the start of the publication.Study this journal can help to enrich the study of modern literature on multiple points of view,and discuss the communication and acceptance of foreign literature in China at that period.Looking from the chinese-western cultural exchange,this paper discusses the meaning and status of Wenxue in the whole literature world.The first part provides an overview of Wenxue and summarizes the editing idea of this journal.The second part compares Wenxue with left-wing journal Beidou and "the third men" journal Xiandai,study the property of Wenxue in the factors of literature,commerce and politics.The third part analyses the translations of different foreign literature and authors,and studies the cultural origin behind the differences.The fourth part takes the pictures in Wenxue as a cut-in-point,studies the preference of western painting to attests Wenxue always remembered the pursuit of aesthetic.
